Do check out the trailer above, it is such a beautiful film with some good life lessons for everyone. If you haven’t seen it yet I urge you to do so it is an amazing film.

Its pretty much about a guy named Jason Stevens (Drew Fuller) who lives a lavish privileged life and stands to inherit “the ultimate gift” in the end handed over by his  grandfather Howard ‘Red’ Stevens (James Garner).Jason and his grandfather never got along and their relationship was purely driven on wealth. His grandfather has set out twelve tasks that Jason has to first complete in order for his inheritance to be handed over to him. His grandfather has named these tasks as gifts and Jason finds them very challenging because he literally is stripped of all his wealth and property and is left with nothing, he even loses his girlfriend and friends in the process. Jason later meets a little  girl named Emily (Abigail Breslin) with her mother and later finds out that Emily has leukaemia and literally goes out his way to make sure she is happy and enjoys her last days on earth including a memorable Christmas.

During the course of the movie Jason realises that money isn’t everything and that it is the little things in life that we take for granted that make life worth living for. After completing all his twelve tasks (“gifts”) his inheritance is revealed to him and he gets $12 billion. He uses that money to build a hospital in honor of Emily whom died from leukaemia.

Such a beautiful movie! Please see it guys, hire it at video stores or YouTube it or whatever but it is totally worth every minute. 🙂
