Hi everyone!! First of all I’d like to apologize for being away for a while, I’ve been undergoing some personal growth and getting my life on track. And secondly, I like to wish you all a prosperous 2017! Yes I know I’m late but hey, better late than never right?!!
Now that that’s out the way, on Friday the 27th of January I had the honor of being invited to one of the first Clinique Color Pro Classes at the Edgars store in The Pavilion. Basically these are a series of classes that will help make up lovers with basic make up tips and tricks. One is also informed on various Clinique products to help achieve your desired make up look. Now anyone who knows me knows I love make up and any opportunity that arises to help me learn and better my skills I am there!
The set up was extremely gorgeous, I loved the detail and the time taken to prepare this amazing event. On arrival we were welcomed by both the lovely Clinique consultants Noxolo Zondi and Kelly Robertson. There were delicious cupcakes and refreshments for everyone to devulge in during the duration of the class. At every seat on the table each individual received a Clinique gift pack and a make up services card in case one needs more personal one on one lessons.
The class proceeded with everyone introducing themselves followed by an eyebrow tutorial done by Noxolo who demonstrated on our model for the day Welile Mkhize. I would say this was one of the most anticipated tutorials for the day as most people struggle with getting the perfect brow. Kelly then followed with a tutorial on applying eye shadow, eyeliner with both a pencil and liquid liner; as well as how to switch the look from day to night with using minimal colors. Noxolo then ended off the first class session on how to get the perfect lip and tips on how to make every lip color work for everyone despite your complexion.
A lot was learnt during the class and I am certain that everyone who attended left there with a lot of knowledge and eagerness to practice when they got home. I personally would like to thank both Noxolo and Kelly as well as Clinique for that amazing experience.
Please check out both ladies Instagram Pages and also pay them a visit at the Clinique counters at the Edgars store in The Pavilion for any make up and skin care needs.
Thank you for taking time to read this blog post!!
